Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of Time Frame and of this website. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using Time Frame (the “app”), or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or the website.
When Time Frame is distributed through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your copy of the app. If that agreement and these terms conflict on a point that agreement governs, that agreement prevails.
2. Ownership
Time Frame is owned and developed by Abir Barman. The app, its source code, design, name, logo, screenshots and documentation are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, and all rights not expressly granted to you are reserved. Time Frame is proprietary software; see the License for details.
3. Permitted use
You may use Time Frame on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal or professional productivity, in line with these terms and any applicable App Store rules. You must not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sublicense the app or any part of it;
- decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the app, except to the extent applicable law expressly allows this despite this restriction;
- remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other notice in the app;
- use the app in a way that breaks the law or interferes with Apple’s services or other people’s devices.
4. Your content
The task names, timers, templates, plans and history you create belong to you. Time Frame stores them on your devices and, if you choose, in your own iCloud account, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you enter and for keeping your own backups of anything important to you.
5. Apple services and other third parties
Some features depend on services provided by Apple, including iCloud and CloudKit, Calendar, notifications, Siri and Shortcuts, widgets and Apple Watch connectivity. Those services are provided by Apple under its own terms and privacy policy, and their availability is outside my control. Apple is not responsible for Time Frame or its support.
6. Availability and updates
Time Frame is not yet available on the App Store. When it is, I may release updates that add, change or remove features, and I may stop offering the app. Features can also behave differently across devices and operating system versions. I do not promise that the app will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.
7. Timers, notifications and calendar events
Time Frame is a productivity aid. Notifications and calendar events can be delayed or suppressed by your device settings, Focus modes, battery saving or the operating system. Do not rely on Time Frame where a missed or late alert could cause harm, loss or danger.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Time Frame and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abir Barman is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, productivity, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, Time Frame or this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, including your rights as a consumer.
10. Termination
Your permission to use Time Frame ends automatically if you break these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. Sections that by their nature should continue — including ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability — survive termination.
11. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time, for example when Time Frame becomes available on the App Store. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. If you keep using the app or website after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.
12. Contact
