Frequently asked questions
When can I download Time Frame?
Time Frame is coming soon to the app store. It is not available to download yet, and there is no release date to announce. This website will link to the App Store listing once it is live.
Which devices does it run on?
Time Frame is built for Mac (macOS 27 or later) and for iPhone and iPad (iOS and iPadOS 26 or later). The Apple Watch app (watchOS 26 or later) is a companion to the iPhone app: it shows and controls the session your iPhone is running.
Do I need an account?
No. Time Frame has no account and no sign-up. Optional sync uses the Apple Account already on your device.
How do I keep my devices in sync?
Open Settings › Sync & Devices on each device and turn on iCloud Sync, signed in to the same Apple Account. Changes sync through your private iCloud database, and directly between nearby devices on the same network. A session is always controlled by the device that is running it.
Why does my Apple Watch not show my Mac's session?
An Apple Watch pairs with an iPhone, not with a Mac, so the Watch app reflects the session running on your iPhone.
How do I add sessions to my calendar?
On Mac, iPhone or iPad, open Settings › Calendar, turn the integration on, allow calendar access when asked, and choose a calendar. You can revoke access later in your device’s Privacy & Security settings.
I am not getting notifications at the end of an interval.
Check Settings › Notifications in Time Frame, then make sure notifications for Time Frame are allowed in your device’s settings and are not silenced by a Focus mode.
Does editing a timer change my past sessions?
No. Each session keeps the configuration it ran with, so renaming or deleting a configuration, template or plan never rewrites your history.
How do I show the menu bar timer on Mac?
Open Settings › Menu Bar and turn it on. The popover holds the countdown, the controls and Quick Start.
See the Privacy Policy for how Time Frame handles information.
